DESOTO, Texas — Longhorn International Motorsports Corporation (LIMC) announced today a strategic partnership with Galaxy Unmanned Systems to develop and deploy dual-use unmanned airships supporting motorsports entertainment, media production, land development, and autonomous aerial research operations.
Under the alliance, LIMC and Galaxy Unmanned Systems will collaborate on two specialized autonomous airship platforms. The first airship will focus on promotional and production operations during races, festivals, and immersive fan experiences throughout the LIMC ecosystem. The platform is expected to provide elevated live-event broadcasting, aerial marketing, sponsor activations, and enhanced race coverage capabilities.
The second autonomous airship platform will support land development analytics, infrastructure planning, surveying, environmental monitoring, and aerial research initiatives tied to LIMC’s growing motorsports and mixed-use development projects in North Texas.
LIMC officials said the partnership represents a major step in integrating next-generation aerospace and autonomous technologies into motorsports operations and venue development.
