1. Scope of Terms

Scope of Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to all divisions of Longhorn International Motorsports, including but not limited to:

  • Longhorn International Raceway – track operations, racing events, and facility rentals.

  • Community & Residential Development – real estate sales, leasing, and car condominiums.

  • Retail & Dining – restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues.

  • The Global Motorsports Network (GMN Live) – streaming, media, and content distribution.

  • Employment Opportunities – careers, recruitment, and hiring processes.

By engaging with any LIM division, you agree to abide by these terms.

Employment Submissions

All employment applications must be submitted through the official LIM online careers portal. Applicants must register online prior to submitting resumes, cover letters, or supporting documents. Resumes submitted outside of the online system (e.g., email, third-party sites) may not be considered.

Use of Information (Privacy Policy)

Longhorn International Motorsports (“LIM”) values the privacy of all applicants, visitors, customers, and participants. By interacting with our websites, facilities, events, and services, you acknowledge and agree to the collection and limited use of certain personal information as outlined below:

  1. Information We Collect
    LIM may collect personal information including, but not limited to:

    • Name, address, email address, and phone number.

    • Payment or billing details for ticketing, retail, or event transactions.

    • Employment-related information such as resumes, cover letters, work history, and references.

    • Event participation data, waivers, and safety compliance forms.

    • Technical information from online usage (such as IP address, browser type, and cookies).

  2. How We Use Information
    Personal information may be used for the following purposes:

    • To process employment applications and maintain candidate records.

    • To fulfill ticket orders, event registrations, or retail purchases.

    • To communicate important updates, including event changes, policy updates, or promotional offers (with opt-out options where applicable).

    • To ensure safety and compliance with motorsports regulations and participant waivers.

    • To improve operational efficiency, visitor experience, and service delivery.

  3. No Sale or Unauthorized Sharing

    • LIM does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share personal information with third-party marketing companies.

    • Information is disclosed only when required by law, court order, or regulatory compliance.

    • Limited access may be granted to trusted vendors or service providers (e.g., payment processors, streaming platforms, or IT support) solely to perform services on LIM’s behalf, under confidentiality obligations.

  4. Employment Submissions

    • Employment applications and supporting materials are used exclusively for recruitment, evaluation, and employment purposes.

    • Such information will not be shared outside of LIM without express consent, except where required by law.

    • Applicants may request correction or removal of their information by contacting LIM Human Resources.

  5. Data Protection & Security

    • LIM uses commercially reasonable safeguards, both digital and physical, to protect personal data from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.

    • However, LIM cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted online, and users assume associated risks when submitting information electronically.

  6. Retention of Information

    • Information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill its original purpose, comply with legal requirements, or support operational needs.

    • Once information is no longer required, it will be securely deleted or anonymized.

  7. Your Rights

    • Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by contacting LIM’s Legal Department.

    • Users may opt-out of promotional communications at any time by following unsubscribe instructions in LIM communications.

 

Event Image and Video Usage

By entering, attending, or participating in any event, activity, or program organized, hosted, or sponsored by Longhorn International Motorsports (“LIM”), you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Consent to Recording and Capture

    • LIM, its affiliates, partners, and authorized media representatives may capture still images, video recordings, and/or audio recordings of attendees, participants, and spectators during events.

    • These recordings may occur in both public and restricted-access areas within LIM facilities.

  2. Grant of Rights

    • By attending an LIM event, you grant LIM and its authorized partners an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, broadcast, and otherwise exploit your image, likeness, voice, and performance as captured in any media format (including photography, video, film, livestream, digital, and print).

    • This usage may include, but is not limited to: promotional materials, advertisements, press releases, broadcast content, archival purposes, and commercial licensing associated with LIM.

  3. No Compensation

    • You understand and agree that no financial compensation, royalties, or further approvals will be provided in connection with the use of your image, likeness, or recordings.

  4. Third-Party Media

    • Media outlets, sponsors, and independent photographers may also capture content at LIM events. LIM is not responsible for, nor does it control, the use of such content by third parties not directly affiliated with LIM.

  5. Opt-Out Requests

    • If you do not wish for your image or likeness to be recorded or used, you must provide written notice to LIM prior to attending the event.

    • LIM will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests; however, complete exclusion from all recordings in public or group settings cannot be guaranteed.

  6. Commercial Exploitation

    • Unauthorized commercial use of event imagery, including the sale or distribution of photographs, videos, or broadcasts taken within LIM facilities, is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from LIM.

  7. Ownership of Media

    • All official event media captured by or on behalf of LIM is the sole property of Longhorn International Motorsports. Attendees have no ownership rights in such content, regardless of their appearance within it.

Ticketing, Retail, and Event Participation

  • All ticket purchases are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

  • Retail and dining purchases are subject to individual vendor policies.

  • Participation in racing or motorsport activities requires completion of applicable waivers and compliance with all safety regulations.

Intellectual Property

All logos, trademarks, media content, and materials associated with LIM and its divisions are the property of Longhorn International Motorsports. Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited without written consent by Longhorn International Motorsports, Inc.

Limitation of Liability

LIM is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during participation in motorsports, community activities, or events. Attendees and participants assume all risks associated with motorsport activities.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions, as well as any disputes, claims, or controversies arising from or related to your access to or use of Longhorn International Motorsports (“LIM”) facilities, services, websites, or events, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.

  1. Exclusive Jurisdiction and Venue

    • You agree that any legal action, proceeding, or dispute between you and LIM shall be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Navarro County, Texas or Ellis County, Texas, or, where applicable, the federal courts within the State of Texas.

    • By engaging with LIM, you expressly consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

  2. Waiver of Other Venues

    • You waive any objection to jurisdiction or venue in the above courts, including claims of forum non conveniens or lack of personal jurisdiction.

  3. Dispute Resolution Encouragement

    • While formal litigation may be pursued, the parties are encouraged to attempt good-faith negotiations or alternative dispute resolution methods (such as mediation or arbitration) prior to initiating legal proceedings.

  4. Attorneys’ Fees and Costs

    • In the event of litigation, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys’ fees, court costs, and expenses incurred in connection with the dispute, unless otherwise prohibited by law.
