Longhorn International Motorsports Corporation (LIMC) is developing one of the largest motorsports and entertainment destinations in North America. Spanning more than 1,500 acres in North Texas, LIMC will feature an FIA-grade road circuit, drag strip, karting complex, off-road facilities, hospitality venues, commercial development, residential opportunities, media production, and automotive testing and proving grounds.
As LIMC continues its rapid growth, we are seeking a highly experienced Human Resources Director to lead all human capital operations across the corporation and its affiliated brands.
Position Overview
The Human Resources Director will oversee all recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, compensation administration, and workforce planning across all LIMC divisions and brands. This executive-level position will play a critical role in building the organization’s workforce from the ground up while implementing scalable systems, policies, and processes to support future growth.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between LIMC and third-party HR, payroll, and benefits providers such as ADP, Rippling, and similar enterprise workforce management platforms.
This role requires a strategic thinker who understands modern HR technology, organizational development, talent acquisition, and process optimization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Development
- Lead all hiring efforts across LIMC brands, divisions, and operating companies.
- Develop recruiting strategies for executive, management, technical, motorsports, hospitality, construction, and administrative positions.
- Establish relationships with universities, trade schools, recruiting firms, and workforce development organizations.
- Manage job postings, applicant tracking systems, interview processes, and onboarding programs.
- Develop succession planning and employee retention initiatives.
Human Resources Operations
- Create and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Oversee employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Administer performance management programs and annual reviews.
- Maintain personnel records and HR documentation.
Payroll, Benefits & Compliance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and HR service providers including ADP, Rippling, and other workforce management platforms.
- Coordinate employee benefits administration and enrollment.
- Ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations, FLSA requirements, and employment reporting obligations.
- Oversee workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and leave administration.
Systems & Process Management
- Design and implement scalable HR systems and workflows.
- Analyze workforce metrics and HR reporting data.
- Develop efficient onboarding, training, and employee management processes.
- Evaluate and implement HR technologies that improve operational efficiency.
- Support organizational growth through structured process improvement initiatives.
Strategic Leadership
- Partner with executive leadership to support corporate growth objectives.
- Assist in workforce planning for future development phases of the LIMC campus.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, professionalism, and employee engagement.
- Participate in executive planning meetings and provide HR-related guidance.
Qualifications
Required Education
- Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
Required Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in a dedicated Human Resources role.
- Demonstrated experience managing recruitment, employee relations, compliance, payroll coordination, and HR systems.
- Experience working with HRIS and payroll platforms such as ADP, Rippling, Paychex, BambooHR, Workday, or similar systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR certification.
- Experience supporting multi-location operations.
- Experience in sports, motorsports, hospitality, entertainment, construction, or large-scale development projects.
- Experience scaling organizations during periods of rapid growth.
