Longhorn International Motorsports is proud to announce the appointment of Mack Jones as Director of Track Operations for the newly established Longhorn International Speedway, a state-of-the-art quarter-mile drag strip and a flagship division of Longhorn International Motorsports.
In his role, Jones will oversee all aspects of track operations, including race event management, facility safety, scheduling, compliance, and the coordination of racing programs. With a strong background in motorsports operations and a proven track record in maintaining safety and operational excellence, Jones will play a pivotal role in building the speedway into one of the premier drag racing venues in the nation.

Jones will also work closely with industry governing bodies, including the World Drag Racing Alliance sanctioning authorities, to ensure the Speedway maintains the highest standards of safety, competition, and fan experience. Jones will also headup LIM’s Turn Wrench Program.

The Longhorn International Speedway will host a full calendar of drag racing events, test-and-tune sessions, and special exhibitions beginning with its inaugural season launch early 2027.
